About Us

Who We Are & Why We’re Doing This

Hey there! Welcome to this space—we’re a team of students and lecturers from Dalarna University in Sweden and three universities in Ukraine: Odessa National Medical University, Ivan Franko National University Lviv, and Lviv Polytechnic National University.

By 2025, 10 lecturers and 30 students will have built this platform, packed with information and self-help resources on sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR). But we’re not stopping there! We also run peer-learning workshops and share this platform with students at our universities.

This project is backed by the Swedish Institute through the SI Baltic Sea Neighborhood Programme. Our mission? To create a safe and accessible space where students and teachers can connect—no matter the challenges.

In 2024, a group of students completed an SRHR course at Dalarna University and are now using their knowledge to reach 400+ peers. Meanwhile, university lecturers are working hard to bring SRHR into university courses and team up with policymakers to set up youth health consultations—both online and, when possible, in person.

Our big-picture goal? To prepare future doctors, psychologists, sociologists, and social workers with the skills they need to support young people’s sexual and reproductive health. And in the long run, we hope this project helps build a national online platform for SRHR in Ukraine, making sure young people have access to the support they need—during and after the war.

We’re here to make a difference—for you, for your peers, and for the future of SRHR in Ukraine.
